Olive Kitchen & Deli is a welcoming cafe nestled on High Street in Epping that attracts a steady stream of locals looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy well-made coffee and thoughtfully prepared breakfasts. The interior is thoughtfully arranged with comfortable, modern furnishings, creating a cozy atmosphere that suits anyone from regulars grabbing a morning pick-me-up to visitors settling in for a slow brunch.

What stands out here is the balance Olive Kitchen strikes between familiar comfort and a health-conscious approach. The menu leans toward fresh, wholesome options rather than the typical greasy spoon fare, making it a popular choice for breakfast and brunch. Items like the Mediterranean Breakfast and Eggs Benedict offer heartier fare without feeling too heavy, while simple but satisfying choices such as avocado toast and breakfast rolls cater well to those who want something lighter.

Coffee plays a central role in the Olive Kitchen experience, with a strong reputation for quality brews and a wide range of milk alternatives available. This attention to coffee craftsmanship encourages slow mornings spent with a latte or a Turkish coffee, especially appreciated on quieter weekday mornings or weekend brunch hours when the space hums with a friendly, relaxed energy.

Despite its calm interior, the cafe buzzes with the kind of charm only a family-run spot can provide. Staff go out of their way to accommodate special requests, creating a personalized experience that draws repeat visitors. The inclusion of freshly made juices and Mediterranean-inspired delights adds to the distinct local flavour that sets Olive Kitchen apart from typical chain cafes nearby.

For those who enjoy indulging in simple sweets, the carrot cake and homemade apple pie offer familiar comfort, rounding out a visit that’s as much about atmosphere and genuine hospitality as it is about the food. Whether you’re a local popping in on a weekday morning or a visitor taking a break while exploring Epping’s High Street, Olive Kitchen & Deli provides a quietly pleasant spot to recharge without fuss.

Such amazing food at decent prices. The guys in here made me a dish that wasn’t on the menu. They always go out of their way to satisfy their customers and are the most friendly small family business in the town. They make various fresh juices, have a great coffee menu, milk alternatives, and much to choose from on the food menu. Would highly recommend.

Funnily enough I had walked past this cafe several times thinking it was a health food shop until I saw a favourable review on social media. Today I stopped in to try the Full English Breakfast. Its a very nicely decorated cafe with decent furniture and friendly staff. A good start. The menu is very healthy as opposed to the 'traditional' greasy spoon but that's no bad thing. The coffee was good, a nice flavour with just a hint of bitterness although perhaps a little small in size.I also chose to have a healthy juice drink - I can't recall exactly what was in it but it was much better than I expected. The main event was the fry up and I wasn't disappointed. I've had fry up's all over the world and while this wasn't the best - that award goes to a cafe in Banff Canada - it was far from shabby. The fried eggs were cooked to perfection, no runny white and the yolks with just a hint of firmness. The mushrooms were good too while the baked beans were just baked beans. The hash browns were crispy without being greasy or mushy. The sausage was the real highlight - a Cumberland style with enough pepperiness and a nice amount of porky salty fatness. And it was cooked just right so that the skin gave out that little ripping sound when cut. Lovely! The negatives - not that they were really negative - were the bacon which didn't have much flavour or texture and the toast which was a pappy white bread. I would suggest a better quality bacon - maybe streaky - cooked a bit crisper and a perhaps more robust bread such as a seeded or crusty bloomer. All in all, it was a decent breakfast priced at just £6.95. I honestly would have paid more especially with different bacon and bread. Well worth a visit and I shall return especially for the sausages.

Best deli in Epping hands down! In a crowded market these guys surpass the rest rather easily - not a fan of the new place on the high street, but these especially when it comes to quality food, service and just a friendly interaction all round are amazing. I take my family here whenever we are out and about the high street, parking can be a bit difficult, but theres a few pay & display places nearby

Delicious food, reasonably priced too considering the area. They appear family run, but not sure, none-the-less extremely polite staff and very welcoming
